Investigation into Fatal Stabbing at 108 Van Molan


August 25, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man found at 108 Van Molan about 1:40 p.m. on Monday (August 24).
 
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Harris and Senior Police Officer M. Waters II reported:  

HPD patrol officers were notified of a body in a field at the above address.  Officers arrived and found the victim with multiple stab wounds. 

The victim is believed to be a Hispanic male, in his early 60s, with salt and pepper hair, a gray mustache and a goatee.  He is a known homeless man in the area, possibly named Arturo or Alfredo Hernandez.  He was often seen with another Hispanic homeless male known as "Jesse" and a white male known as "Brandon."
