Investigation into Male Found Deceased at 2300 St. Joseph's Parkway



November 2, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the death of a male found at 2300 St. Joseph's Parkway about 5:15 a.m. on Saturday (October 31).  

The identity of the male, 55, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant L. Ross and Officer E. Morgado reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to the above address, which is an exit ramp from the North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) HOV lane, and found a deceased male, believed to be a pedestrian, on the east side of the roadway under Jefferson Street.  The male had sustained head and facial injuries.  

According to witnesses, the victim is believed to be a homeless male who appeared to have been swept away by high water in a location prone to flooding.  The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences found no evidence of foul play in this incident.
