UPDATE: Suspect Wanted, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 4719 West 34th Street

November 19, 2015 - Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a female found at 4719 West 34th Street about 7 p.m. on Monday (November 16).

The suspect Jessie Earl Nicholson (b/m, 59), is charged with murder in the 184th State District Court.  He is accused in the killing of his ex-wife, Sheila Elaine Nicholson, 54, of Houston.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer J. Saldana and Officer R. Klementich reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address.  A preliminary investigation determined Ms. Nicholson and a male were seen walking in a parking lot at the above location when, at some point, the male shot Sheila Nicholson.  HFD paramedics responded to the scene and transported her to Ben Taub General Hospital where she later died.  

According to witnesses, the suspect, described only as a black male, got into a blue Ford Taurus and left the scene.  The suspect later returned on foot and drove away in a red Toyota Tercel.  

Further investigation developed information that identified Jessie Nicholson as the suspect in this case.  He is believed to be armed and possibly in the northwest Houston area.
