Update: Surveillance Video Released in Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6100 Edinburg

September 10, 2015 - Houston police have released surveillance video of a vehicle wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a man and a woman at 6100 Edinburg about 10:20 p.m. on August 17.

The vehicle is described only as a 1980s or '90s Ford Thunderbird or Mercury Cougar.  The vehicle is seen driving down Edinburg, making a U-turn and then traveling down the same street.  The video can be viewed on the HPD YouTube Channel at https://youtu.be/DWO5i9ff8Hw.  

The victims, Yvette Rodriguez, 26, and David Chavez, 24, were pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Arroyo and S. Overstreet reported:

Ms. Rodriguez and Mr. Chavez, who were girlfriend and boyfriend, were sitting in a vehicle parked on the street outside Rodriguez's residence when witnesses reported hearing gunshots. Paramedics were called and pronounced the couple deceased.
