HPD, Partners Offer Home Burglary Prevention Assistance to Elderly Sunnyside Residents


April 13, 2016 - Houston police have released surveillance photos of two possible suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 7719 Hirsch about 8:45 p.m. on Monday (April 11).
 
The suspects are described only as a black male and black female who were seen driving a red Chevrolet four-door sedan at the time of the incident.  Photos of both suspects and the Chevrolet are attached to this news release.

The victim, Emmitt Carmouche, 39, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.  

HPD Homicide Division Officers I. Ulloa and E. Wohlgemuth reported:  

Mr. Carmouche was found lying on the ground in front of a residence at the above address.  HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced him deceased from a gunshot wound.  

At this time, there is no known motive.
