Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 3380 Crestdale


April 18, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 3380 Crestdale about 3:50 a.m. on Sunday (April 17).  

The deceased man, 20 to 25 years of age, was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  The second victim, Joshua McKinney, 21, suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and leg and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant S. Murdock and Senior Police officer B. Evans reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found Houston Fire Department paramedics attending to a black male in the driver's side of a black 1999 Mercedes-Benz.  He was pronounced deceased by paramedics.  The second victim, Mr. McKinney, was also found to have sustained gunshot wounds and transported to the hospital.  

At this time, there is no known motive nor suspects.
