HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer L. Bailey and Officer J. Young reported:

Houston police officers were notified by a witness that Thomas had told him she had killed her two children.  Officers detained Sheborah and returned to the above address and located the children beneath a residence next door.

During an interview with HPD Homicide investigators, Sheborah stated that she drowned both children the bath tub on Friday (Aug. 12), wrapped them in bed sheets and placed them in a trash can behind her house.  She also told investigators she attempted the next day to dig a hole near the side of the house but was unable to dig it deep enough for the bodies to fit and instead, she placed the children beneath the neighboring house at 3009 Tierwester.

The investigation is continuing.
