Suspect Charged, Wanted in Child's Death at 301 Wilcrest Drive


December 8, 2016 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect wanted in the death of a child at 301 Wilcrest Drive about 8:25 a.m. on November 8.  

The suspect, Jasmine Jones (b/f, 21), is charged with two counts of injury to a child-serious bodily injury in the 228th State District Court.  She is accused in the death of her son, Jaycion Jones, 3, of the above address.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Hassig and Officer T. Ferguson reported:  

Houston Fire Department paramedics responded the above address regarding an unresponsive three-year-old boy (Jaycion Jones).  HFD paramedics observed bruising around Jaycion's pelvis and transported him to Texas Children's Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  An autopsy conducted by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences determined Jaycion suffered extensive internal injuries as well as wounds to his buttocks, back, abdomen, pelvis and head and that he died as a result of those injuries.
