Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5227 Myrtlewood


December 12, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 5227 Myrtlewood about 10:40 p.m. on Saturday (Dec. 10).

The identity of the deceased victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Officers J. Dodson and B. Roberts reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the above address and found two male shooting victims.  One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was transported to an area hospital.

The suspects are described only as black males in their late teens to early 20s.  They were last seen in two vehicles, a black four-door sedan and a gray Pontiac Grand Prix.
