Update: Suspects Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 6363 West Airport Boulevard
February 15, 2016 - Charges have been filed against three suspects arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 6363 West Airport Boulevard about 4:40 p.m. on January 15.
The suspects, Darrion Quarells (b/m, 19), Vanessa Parks (b/f, 19) and Torell Parks (b/m, 20), are charged with capital murder in the 262nd State District Court. Photos of the three suspects are attached to this news release.
The victim, Giles Montgomery, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Officers D. Williamson and A. Vinogradov reported:
Mr. Montgomery and and the suspects got into an altercation in a parking lot of an apartment complex at the above address. During the argument, Montgomery was shot at least one time. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Further investigation led to the identifications of Darrion Quarells, Vanessa Parks and her brother, Torell Parks, as suspects in this case and they were subsequently arrested without incident.
