Suspect Arrested, Charged in Baby's Death at 4400 Yellowstone



March 11, 2016 - Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the death of a baby that occurred at 4400 Yellowstone about 10:55 p.m. on Sunday (March 6).

The suspect, Carl Wayne Robertson (b/m, 24), is charged with capital murder in the 209th State District Court.  A photo of Robertson is attached to this news release.

Robertson is accused in the death of his son, Prince Robertson, 7 weeks old.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. Horn and K. Meeks, and Officer K. Fregia reported:

Robertson called paramedics to the 4400 block of Yellowstone after he said he found his son unresponsive.  Responding paramedics observed baby Prince had visible injuries and he was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival.  Preliminary autopsy results indicated the infant had suffered blunt force trauma. 

Robertson was taken into custody and admitted to his role in the baby's death.
