Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 7804 Keller


January 22, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7804 Keller about 4:40 p.m. on Sunday (Jan. 21).

The victim, 22, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives N. Sharp and C. Sharp reported:

Witnesses reported hearing gunshots coming from behind the residence of the above address.  The victim was subsequently found suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso and blunt force trauma to the head.  He was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses reported seeing two males fleeing the scene on foot.  They are described only as Hispanic males, one wearing a mask and dressed in all black, the other was shirtless. Another possible suspect, described only as a Hispanic male left the scene in a red Chevrolet Impala.
