Investigation into Shooting Incident at 6901 Martin Luther King Boulevard


January 22, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of two men at 6901 Martin Luther King Boulevard about 2:35 p.m. on Sunday (Jan. 21).

The victims, Kedrick Howard, 24, and Leonard Jasmine, 26, suffered non-life-threatening wounds.

HPD Major Assaults Squad Detectives R. Montalvo and D. Nabors reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a reported shooting call at the above address.  Upon arrival, they learned both victims were shot when a dark-colored car drove past.  Mr. Howard suffered a graze wound to his head and was treated at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.  Mr. Jasmine suffered a gunshot wound to his knee.  He was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in stable condition.
