      l stabbing of a man at 10134 Envoy on Tuesday (May 10) about 10:45 p.m.

      The victim is identified as David Lee Pillard, 52, of 7114 Heath. He suffered a stab would to the stomach and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

      HPD Homicide Division Sergeant S. Kennedy and Officer T. Miller reported:

      The suspect, Andrew Rodell Wilder (b/m 4/9/86), got into a physical altercation with his mother's boyfriend, Pillard inside of the mother's residence. Wilder assaulted the victim with his fists, knocked him to the floor and repeatedly kicked him in the head. At some point during the fight, Wilder grabbed a knife and stabbed Pillard in the stomach.

      Wilder has been charged with murder in the 209th State District Court.

Suspect Charged, Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 706 Greens Road

September 08, 2021 - Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 706 Greens Road about 11:25 p.m. on Saturday (September 4).  

The suspect, Jose Casique, Jr. (H/m, 33), is charged with murder in the 182nd State District Court.  A prior booking photo of Casique, Jr., who is not in custody, is attached to this news release.  

The identity of the victim, 38, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Officers J. Campbell and C. Bowling reported:  

The victim got into a brief altercation with Casique, Jr. that escalated to a physical fight at a convenience store at the above address.  Casique, Jr. then shot the victim and fled the scene.  Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
