Sidewalk Applications and Forms

The Sidewalk Network Ordinance creates three options for sidewalk compliance. They are:

1. Constructing the required sidewalk.
2. Constructing a sidewalk with modified width if the Sidewalk Committee approves the Sidewalk Standard Modification Application.
3. Paying a Fee in Lieu of Sidewalk Construction if meeting the criteria prescribed on Sec 40-560(b)(1) or Sec 40-561(d).

Application Fees
The specific application fee is listed on the tables below. Applications that propose both a sidewalk and a safety buffer, even if they are somewhat narrower than the widths otherwise required, are not subject to the application fee. If no sidewalk is being proposed, or if there is a sidewalk being proposed without a safety buffer, the fee will apply.
