Investigation into Female's Death at 2445 Fulton

November 9, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the death of a woman found at 2445 Fulton about 8 p.m. on Friday (Nov. 6).

The female victim suffered trauma to the head and face and appeared to have been strangled. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant P. Munoz and Officer D. Gunter reported:

The victim was working at a check cashing store when she was attacked by an unknown suspect. She was later discovered in a back room by Houston Fire Department personnel.
