Investigation into Males Death at 9303 Woodfair

November 16, 2009 - Houston police are investigating an incident in which a critically injured man found at 9303 Woodfair about 1:55 a.m. on Sunday (Nov. 15) died from his injuries.

The victim, 33, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant L.A. Flores and Senior Police Officer P.J. Guerrero reported:

Officers responded to a shooting call at 9303 Woodfair and saw the male victim lying in the driveway entrance to the Riverstone Apartments. HFD paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the victim to the hospital.

Investigators determined the victim was robbed by three suspects and received severe head trauma. All suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspects are described only as one black male and two black females. The male suspect, armed with a gun, was dressed in a black hoodie and black pants. One female is described as tall and dressed all in black. The other female is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, has short black hair with one inch dreadlocks with brown tips. She wore a red beret in her hair, had piercings under her bottom lip and left eyebrow and was dressed in a black Dickie shirt and black Dickie pants.
