Victim Identified in Fatal Shooting at 9303 Woodfair

November 17, 2009 - Houston police have learned the identity of a man who died on Monday (Nov. 16) from wounds suffered in a shooting at 9303 Woodfair about 1:55 a.m. on Sunday (Nov. 15).

The victim, Noe Alexander Uribe Martinez, 33, of Houston, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant L.A. Flores and Senior Police Officer P.J. Guerrero reported:

Officers responded to a shooting call at 9303 Woodfair and saw the victim, Mr. Martinez, lying in the driveway entrance to the Riverstone Apartments. HFD paramedics arrived at the scene and transported Martinez to the hospital.

Investigators determined Martinez was robbed by three suspects and received severe head trauma. All suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspects are described only as one black male and two black females. The male suspect, armed with a gun, was dressed in a black hoodie and black pants. One female is described as tall and dressed all in black. The other female is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, has short black hair with one inch dreadlocks which have brown tips. She wore a red beret in her hair, had piercings under her bottom lip and left eyebrow and was dressed in a black Dickie shirt and black Dickie pants.
