Investigation into Shooting at West 20th

September 28, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of two men at 1304 West 20th about 12:25 a.m. on Sunday (Sept. 27).

One male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition. A second male also suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital in good condition.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers R.W. Chappell and R.W. Arnold reported:

Two unknown male suspects returned to the La Bola Loca Club on Saturday evening after a previous altercation with bar employees a week earlier. The suspects got into another fight and were forced to leave the bar. One of the suspects went to his car, retrieved a shotgun and fired two shots into the club, striking both victims. Neither victim was involved in either of the previous two incidents.

The suspects are described only as two Hispanic males, in their 20s, and wearing white shirts.
