Suspect Wanted, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 5110 Werner

September 30, 2009 - Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 5110 Werner about 4 a.m. today (Sept. 30).

Suspect Marlo D. ReasonSuspect Marlo D. ReasonMarlo D. Reason, also known as Marlon Devon Reason, also known as “Two-Four,” also known as “Forty,” (b/m, DOB: 10-7-84), has been charged with murder in the 184th State District Court. Photos of Reason are attached to this news release.

The victim, Johnny Lee Gordon, 22, of the above address suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts, Senior Police Officer R. Moreno, and Officer J. Harvey reported:

Reason arrived at the home of Mr. Gordon early this morning and began knocking on the doors and windows until Gordon came outside. The two men, who witnesses report had an on-going feud, exchanged a few words and then Reason produced a gun and fatally shot Gordon. Reason then entered the home and attempted to shoot a second person, but was unsuccessful. Reason then fled the scene.

Reason is described as a black male, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing between 120 and 140 pounds. He has the number “4” tattooed under both eyes.
