Investigation Into Male’s Death at 2303 North Main

February 4, 2010 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 2303 North Main about 9 a.m. today.

The victim, 59, suffered blunt force trauma to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Chandler and Officer J. Robles reported:

Patrol officers and HFD paramedics responded to a call of an unresponsive male at a gas station parking lot at North Main and Quitman. The male appeared to have been struck in the head but is no indication he was struck intentionally. The victim had anti-seizure medication in his possession.

The investigation is pending the determination of the man’s cause of death.
