Fatal Shooting at 1028 Marjorie Street

January 07, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1028 Marjorie Street about 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday (Jan. 6).

The victim, Joshua Lee Hubbard, 19, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres and Senior Police Officer S. Anderson reported:

An unknown male suspect, accompanied by an unknown female suspect believed to be his wife, met at a residence with two unknown Hispanic males selling narcotics. When the narcotics were displayed, the male suspect said he was going outside to get the money to buy them. The suspect returned with a duffle bag, pulled out a gun and started shooting at the Hispanic male and another individual. When the female suspect heard the gunshots, she pulled out her gun and threatened Mr. Hubbard and a fourth person to get on the floor. Hubbard tried to disarm the female suspect and was shot during the struggle. The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The suspects are described only as a black male, 30 to 40 years of age, and a black female, 32 to 35 years of age.
