Surveillance Photos Released in Business Robbery

The SuspectThe SuspectThe SuspectJanuary 26, 2010 - Investigators in the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in the December 2009 robbery of a southwest Houston cell phone business.

The suspect was seen talking on his cell phone when he entered the Voice Connect store at 9538 Richmond about 6:40 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 7. As he entered, he produced a handgun, pointed it at the clerk, and demanded money from the register. He then fired a shot over the clerk’s head before taking an undisclosed amount of cash and fleeing on foot.

The suspect is described only as a black male, 22 to 25 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, 170 pounds, with a light complexion and thin build.
