Investigation Into Female's Death at 7227 Willowtex June 14, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the death of a woman found at 7227 Willowtex about 12:15 a.m. today. The victim, Joyce Cleveland, 78, of the above address, suffered lacerations and blunt trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant E. Cisneros and Officer W. Ferguson reported: Ms. Cleveland's neighbor was awakened by barking dogs and saw two unknown male suspects enter Cleveland's residence through the front door. Another neighbor then went and knocked on Cleveland's door and, when no one responded, he called police. Patrol officers responded to the scene, entered the residence and found Ms. Cleveland deceased on her living room floor.
