Investigation into Man Found Deceased at 1800 West 25th

May 7, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 1800 West 25th Street about 12:50 a.m. today (May 7).

The victim, age unknown, appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. McStravick and Senior Police Officer P. Guerrero reported:

Early this morning, Central Patrol Division officers responded to a person-down call at 1800 West 25th, near Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital, and found the victim deceased in the street.

Further investigation linked the victim to a shooting incident at 1901 South Voss about two hours earlier (10:35 p.m. on Thurs.).
