Investigation into Fatal Crash at 1900 Mills Branch Drive

April 19, 2017 - Houston police have learned a man critically injured in a crash at 1900 Mills Branch Drive about 7:35 p.m. on April 1, 2017 has died.  

The male victim, 39, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where doctors pronounced him deceased on April 7.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Kopulos and Officer R. Romo reported:  

The victim was operating a black Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Mills Branch Drive when he struck a curb.  The victim suffered head trauma and was transported via Life Flight helicopter to the hospital.  

The investigation is continuing.
