Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5230 Ridgestone
December 21, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 5230 Ridgestone about 11 a.m. on Wednesday (Dec. 20).
The victim, Darrell Brooks, 17, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. McDonald and B. Evans reported:
Mr. Brooks was walking along the sidewalk at the above address when the suspect's vehicle, a silver, two-door hatchback, pulled alongside him. The suspect then fired multiple shots at Brooks and fled the scene. At this time, there is no known suspect nor motive.
