Investigation into Fatal Crash at 18600 Kenswick Drive


November 20, 2017 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 18600 Kenswick Drive about 5:20 p.m. last Friday (November 17).  

The identity of the male victim, 40, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer S. Coke reported:  

According to witnesses, the victim was operating a black Kawasaki motorcycle northbound on Kenswick and weaving in and out of traffic.  The motorcycle cut in front of a white box truck, also traveling northbound on Kenswick, and struck the right front of the vehicle.  The victim lost control of the motorcycle, left the roadway and was ejected.  The driver of the box truck did not stop and fled the scene.  The victim was transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
