UPDATE: Suspect Charged, Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 2800 Stallings


September 21, 2017 - Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a woman found at 2800 Stallings about 11:35 p.m. on Tuesday (September 19). 

The suspect, Marion Charles Goodall (b/m, 34), is charged with murder in the 185th State District Court for his role in the killing of Leticia Greer, 38.

HPD Homicide Division Lieutenant W. Meeler and Sergeant K. Meek reported: 

According to witnesses, Ms. Greer got into a disturbance with a male suspect in the street at the above address.  At some point, she was fatally shot.  The suspect was described only as a black male wearing a black hoodie.  Investigators believe the suspect and another black male left the scene in a gray Dodge truck.   

Further investigation identified Goodall as the suspect in this case.  Goodall, also known as "Trey," lives in the Acres Homes area.  Investigators would also like to speak with the male who was with Goodall on Tuesday night and interview him as a witness.
