Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 3000 Brailsfort


April 3, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3000 Brailsfort about 5:30 p.m. on Saturday (April 1).

The victim, Darrell Walter, 44, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Officers D. Crowder and A. Vinogradov reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address.  Upon arrival, they found Mr. Walter lying in the street.  According to witnesses, Walter was arguing with two men prior to the shooting.  Following the shooting, the suspects took unknown items from Walter's pockets and then fled on foot northbound on Brailsfort.

The suspects are described only as two black males.  The shooter has a small build and is approximately 60 to 70 years old.  The second suspect has a large build and is approximately 30 to 40 years old.
