Investigation into Murder-Suicide at 3821 and 3829 Mount Pleasant


April 8, 2017 - Houston Police are investigating the fatal shootings of two men and a woman found at residences at 3821 and 3829 Mount Pleasant about 7:10 a.m. Friday (April 7) morning.   

The identities of the deceased are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

A fourth person, a woman, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Elsbury and Officer K. Elliot reported:  

About 7:10 a.m., HPD patrol officers responded to a welfare check call at 3829 Mount Pleasant.  Officers arrived, forced entry and found three persons inside with gunshot wounds.  One male and one female were pronounced deceased.  A second female was transported to the hospital.  

A preliminary investigation determined a second scene at 3821 Mount Pleasant, where another male was found deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.  

The investigation has been linked to an additional murder in Fresno, Texas, being investigated by the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office.  It is believed after committing multiple murders and an aggravated assault, the female suspect (found in the residence at 3829 Mount Pleasant) committed suicide.  The investigation is continuing.
