Investigation into Male Found Deceased at 2201 75th Street

August 14, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the death of a male found deceased at 2201 75th Street about 10:25 a.m. on Saturday (Aug. 12).

The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and M. Casso reported:

Barge workers working the Buffalo Bayou Turning Basin observed the victim's body floating in the water.  With the assistance of the HPD Dive Team, the male was recovered.  The investigation is pending autopsy results to determine his cause of death.
