Investigation into Shooting at 4000 McHard Road
December 8, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 4000 McHard Road about 12:15 a.m. today (Dec. 8).
The victim, Jakori Jones, 22, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults Unit Officer J. Hasley and R. Naughton reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the above address and observed Mr. Jones with a gunshot wound to his right shoulder. Jones stated an unknown vehicle pulled alongside his vehicle at a red light and an unknown suspect in the vehicle fired at least one shot at him. Paramedics arrived and transported Jones to the hospital.
