Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6600 Madrid


December 13, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a juvenile male and the wounding of a juvenile female at 6600 Madrid about 12:30 a.m. today.  

The male victim, 16, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  The female victim, 14, was also transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive her wounds.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detective T. Andrade reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found two juveniles had suffered gunshot wounds.  Both were transported to area hospitals.  

At this time, there are no known witnesses nor suspect(s).
