Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 11411 Greens Plaza

February 6, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11411 Greens Plaza about 8:40 p.m. on Saturday (Feb. 4).

The victim, Jerome Forney, 22, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers L. Lovelace and B. Nabors reported:

Mr. Forney and a witness were confronted by three suspects, described only as black males, at a strip shopping center in the 11400 block of the North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) service road.  Forney and the witness left to avoid further confrontation and drove to an apartment complex at the above address.  While in the parking lot, they were again confronted by the suspects who had followed them.  One of the suspects produced a pistol and shot Forney more than once before fleeing.
