Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2400 Truxillo


February 13, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2400 Truxillo about 4:50 a.m. on Saturday (February 11).  

The identity of the victim, in his early 40s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Hassig and Officer T. Ferguson reported:  

Witnesses reported hearing two shots in the area of the above address and then found the victim lying in the street.  Witnesses attempted to provide medical assistance.  HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the man deceased.  Investigators believe the victim frequented a food store near the intersection of Alabama and Nagle.  

At this time, there are no known suspects.
