Investigation into Man Found Deceased at 6200 Marinette

May 30, 2017 - HOUSTON - Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 6200 Marinette about 1:50 a.m. on Monday (May 29).

The victim, Byiringiro Mupenzi, 25, of the above address, suffered severe lacerations and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant H. Garcia and Senior Police Officer J. Roscoe reported:

A tenant in the apartment complex at the above address called 911 and advised he observed a naked man in the parking lot who appeared to be deceased.  HFD paramedics arrived and pronounced the man (Mr. Mupenzi) dead.  Investigators learned Mupenzi lived at the apartment complex.  

There are no known witnesses or suspect(s) at this time.
