UPDATE: HPD Seeks Assistance in Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash at 10300 Bissonnet


May 31, 2017HOUSTON - Houston police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred at 10300 Bissonnet about 5:45 p.m. on March 25.

The victim, Courtney Sims, 36, was transported to Southwest Memorial Hermann where he was pronounced dead. 
 
The suspect, driving a dark-colored pickup truck, fled the scene. 

Surveillance photos of the pickup truck and a picture of Mr. Sims are attached to this news release.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer L. Tram reported:

Witnesses stated Sims, a pedestrian, was crossing the street at the above address, not in a crosswalk, when he was struck by a pickup truck traveling westbound on Bissonnet towards the Beltway.
