Mr. Godbold and another man were exiting a night club at the above address when they were confronted by a male suspect.  The men got into an altercation and the suspect produced a gun and pointed it at one of the men.  Godbold managed to wrestle the gun from the suspect, struck him with it several times and then tossed it to the side.  The suspect retrieved the gun and, while backing toward his vehicle, fired a shot and struck Godbold in the leg.  The suspect then fled the scene in a red minivan.  Godbold was transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital.

The suspect is described only as a dark-skinned Hispanic male, about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a slim build.  He was wearing a red button-down shirt and blue jeans and was accompanied by a Hispanic female dressed all in black.
