Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 3770 South Gessner


November 13, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 3770 South Gessner about 6:20 p.m. last Friday (November 10).  

The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Officers D. Crowder and T. Fay reported:  

The victim was at a gas station at the above address when a black or dark blue Chevrolet Cobalt pulled into a nearby parking space.  The victim and the suspect got into an altercation and the suspect shot the victim several times from inside the vehicle.  The victim was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  

The suspect is described as wearing a red or orange Astros hoodie and was not the driver of the vehicle in which he fled the scene.
