HPD Major Assaults Unit Investigator D. Morrison reported:

Officer responded to a discharge of firearms call at the above address but did not locate anyone in the area who had discharged a gun.  It was later discovered a video had been uploaded to a social media site of a male firing a weapon in the area and shooting in the direction of houses near Cottage Grove Park.  The male is clearly shown on the video and his distinctive tattoos were also visible.

After the video was released to Crime Stoppers, a tip was received identifying the suspect as Ospino Soto.  HPD officers were then able to locate and arrest Ospino Soto last Wednesday (Nov. 22) without incident.
