Surveillance Video of Suspect Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 8200 Cook Road


November 30, 2017 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a male that occurred  at 8200 Cook Road about 1:50 a.m. on Nov. 20.  

The victim, Oscar Green, 47, was pronounced dead at the scene.  

The suspect is described only as a black male between 25 and 30 years of age, about 6 feet tall and with dreadlocks.  A Snapchat video of the suspect can be viewed on the HPD YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/rYynuFmm-LE The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Waters II and M. Condon reported:  

The victim was involved in a disturbance outside a gas station near the above address and was then shot as he ran from the parking lot and down the road.  Paramedics arrived and pronounced the male deceased.  

Investigators believe the victim was involved in a confrontation with two females prior to the shooting.  The suspect frequents the area and rides a blue-colored Schwinn bicycle with blue reflectors on the wheels.
