Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4400 Telephone Road
October 5, 2017 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 4400 Telephone Road about 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday (Oct. 4).
The identity of the male victim, 48, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Salazar and Officer J. Glenn reported:
The victim was walking - not in a crosswalk - across the street at the above address when he was struck by a white Pontiac G6 traveling northbound on Telephone Road. Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The male driver of the Pontiac did not show signs of intoxication and was questioned and released.
The investigation is continuing.
