Investigation into Shooting at 12430 Oxford Park Drive


October 30, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 12430 Oxford Park Drive about 5:55 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 29).
 
The victim, Adegbeminiti Adentan, 24, of the above address, was transported to an area hospital for treatment of what are believed to be non-life threatening wounds.
 
HPD Major Assaults Unit Officer C. Castellani reported:
 
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. Adentan suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.  Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to a hospital for treatment.
 
Witnesses told investigators Adentan had just returned home when a male came to the front door and knocked.  Once the door was slightly opened, the suspect forced his way into the apartment and shot Adentan before fleeing.
 
The suspect is described only as a black or Hispanic male, 20-25 years old, about 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 165 pound with short faded hair and a goatee.  He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants.
