Investigation into Shooting of Man at 2498 Sampson


September 29, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 2498 Sampson about 11:55 p.m. on Thursday (Sept. 28).

The victim, Deadric Robeson, 27, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults Unit Officers M. Barrow and J. Hasley reported:

Mr. Robeson was standing with friends on the corner of Sampson and Bremond when two black male suspects wearing dark clothing walked toward them.  An argument ensued and one of the suspects produced a gun.  The gun was passed to the other suspect, who fired several shots at Robeson and struck him multiple times.  The suspects, described as being in their 20s, then fled on foot.  Paramedics arrived and transported Robeson to the hospital.
