Solid Waste Management’s
Westpark Recycling Center To Be Closed For Construction

HOUSTON – March 27, 2024: Effective Monday, April 8, 2024, the City of Houston Solid Waste Management Department’s Westpark Recycling Center located at 5900 Westpark Drive, will be temporarily closed for construction. The closure is expected to last until Monday, May 13, 2024.

During this period, we encourage you to utilize the following two (2) self-service locations to drop off recyclable items

The Solid Waste Management Department has four Recycling Centers and six Neighborhood Depositories that may be utilized to drop off recyclable materials. For more information, please see our drop off locations.
