First Game at TDECU Stadium

TDECU StadThe University of Houston's new 40,000 seat on-campus football venue, TDECU Stadium, opens its door for the first game, University of Houston vs. UTSA, at 8:00 pm., on Friday, August 29. The stadium is located along Cullen Boulevard and Holman Street. The University of Houston is a member of the American Athletic Conference.

 

Future home games this season are Sep. 6 vs. Grambling State, Sep. 20 vs. UNLV, Oct 2 vs. UCF, Oct. 17 vs. Temple, Nov. 8 vs. Tulane, and Nov. 22 vs. Tulsa. ... More ...

 

Astros August Schedule

Houston Astros LogoNow in their second season as an American League team, the Houston Astros continue their 2014 season at Minute Maid Park with games versus the Toronto Blue Jays (July 31 to August 3). The Texas Rangers come to town August 8 to 10, followed by three games versus the Minnesota Twins from August 11 to 13. The Astros conclude the month with seven games in the last seven days, August 25 to 27 vs. the Oakland A's, and August 28 to 31 again against Texas.
