Surveillance Photos of Suspect Vehicle in Fatal Shooting at 200 Owens Street

November 3, 2020 - Houston police have released surveillance photos of a suspect vehicle wanted in connection to the fatal shooting of a man in the 200 block of Owens Street about 12:20 p.m. on Monday (Nov. 2).

The vehicle is described as a gray, four-door Kia.  The surveillance photos of the vehicle are attached to this news release.

The deceased victim is identified as Brandon Bernard, 28.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective J. Roscoe reported:

Mr. Bernard was standing in the street and talking with a friend when a gray Kia drove up to them.  An unknown male got out of the vehicle and shot Bernard.  The suspect, described only as a black male with dreadlocks having red tips, then fled in the vehicle.

Paramedics arrived and pronounced Bernard deceased at the scene.
