Houston, Texas, August 25, 2017: As a precaution of Hurricane Harvey, the City of Houston’s Solid Waste Management Department’s (SWMD) is closely monitoring the weather today and through the weekend.

In anticipation of the severity of the approaching storm, please secure your City of Houston GREEN and BLACK carts. Store carts in a safe place and or securely tie them down from the possible impact of high winds and or probable flooding.
