Globetrotter
Mahogany’s interest in communications has taken her around the world, from our nation’s capital to Norway and France. She honed her integrated marketing and event planning skills while at GuideStar, the nation’s leading provider of nonprofit information and Fabiani & Company, a Washington, D.C.-based government affairs and marketing firm, providing legislative, regulatory and policy research. Her client work was varied, covering corporate, institutional, and government research, media relations and corporate event PR.

PR Vanguard
A native Houstonian, Mahogany received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in the study of mental processes from Dillard University, and continued her academic pursuit at Georgetown University with a Master’s in Public Relations and Corporate Communication. A three-time winner of PRWeek’s “PR Education Program of the Year” Award, Georgetown University’s Public Relations & Corporate Communications (PRCC) program is recognized as one of the premier communications programs in the world. Her social media savvy and business acumen are essential to the marketing of unique learning opportunities at the City of Houston’s, Learning and Development Center—The Center for Excellence.

Bucket List
As part of her bucket list, Mahogany aspires to walk in a Stephane Rolland Fall collection fashion show, develop her e-commerce start-up into a household name and donate one million dollars to her undergraduate alma mater.
